At the end of the day, in an attempt to keep from eating a handful of sand, the US State Department agreed to remove the Banned pictures of Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero's Daughters Laura and Alba Zapatero from the US state department's Flickr page. This, of course, was after Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero contacted Obama to explain the Spanish law banning the publication of pictures of Zapatero's daughters.
